Taylor Swift named Spotify's top global artist for 2nd year

Taylor Swift has once again been named Spotify's top global artist of the year, accumulating over 26 billion streams, marking her second consecutive year with this title.

Her album "The Tortured Poets Department" set records on Spotify, becoming the first album in history to surpass 300 million streams in a single day and the most-streamed album on its release day.

Additionally, "Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)" from the same album broke the record for the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history.

Swift's dominance is further highlighted with three of her albums, "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," "1989 (Taylor's Version)," and "Lover," appearing in the top global album rankings.

Her song "Cruel Summer" also landed a spot in the top global songs.

Spotify is celebrating Swift's triumph with special billboards in several cities worldwide, including Manila, and a Wrapped badge on her profile.
