Taylor Swift to release docuseries and concert film on Disney+

Taylor Swift is releasing a six-part docuseries titled "The End of an Era" and a concert film "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" to commemorate the conclusion of her record-breaking Eras Tour.

The concert film will feature the complete setlist from her album "The Tortured Poets Department," and the docuseries will showcase behind-the-scenes footage.

Both "The End of an Era" docuseries and "The Final Show" concert film are scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 12.

In an announcement on Instagram, Swift stated, "It was the End of an Era, and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety."

She further clarified that the concert film and the first two episodes of the docuseries will be available on December 12.

The announcement comes weeks after the release of her 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl."

The Eras Tour, which ran from 2023 to 2024, included 149 shows in 51 cities globally and has been recognized as the highest-grossing music tour in history, earning more than $2 billion in ticket sales.
