Taylor Swift announces six-part docuseries and concert film to mark Eras Tour end

Taylor Swift is releasing a six-part docuseries titled "The End of an Era" and a concert film "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" to commemorate the conclusion of her record-breaking Eras Tour.

The docuseries will showcase behind-the-scenes footage from the extensive tour, and the concert film will feature the complete setlist from her album "The Tortured Poets Department."

Both "The End of an Era" docuseries and "The Final Show" concert film are scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 12.

In an announcement on X, Swift stated, "It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety."

The Eras Tour, which ran from 2023 to 2024, included 149 shows in 51 cities globally.

The tour has been recognized as the highest-grossing music tour in history, earning more than $2 billion in ticket sales.
