Taiwanese firm to build $4.3-M manufacturing plant in Batangas

Aromate PH Assets Corp., a subsidiary of Taiwan's Aromate Industries, will establish a $4.3-million manufacturing facility at the LIMA Technology Center in Batangas.

This expansion signifies the company's growing presence in the Philippines, with commercial operations having started in 2024.

The new plant aims to meet the increasing demand for air care products in regional and global markets, particularly in Southeast Asia.

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has registered Aromate PH, highlighting the Philippines' attractiveness to foreign investors.

PEZA Director General Tereso Panga stated that this investment is a significant stride in attracting more Taiwanese firms to the Philippines.

The facility is expected to generate jobs for Filipinos and foster research and development in fragrances and air care products.
