Taiwanese firm Aromate to open $4.3M manufacturing plant in Batangas

Aromate PH, a subsidiary of Taiwan's Aromate Industries, will establish a $4.3-million manufacturing facility at the LIMA Technology Center in Batangas.

This new facility will serve as a regional hub for the company's air care products, responding to increasing market and global demand.

Aromate PH finalized a Registration Agreement with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in Taipei on August 25.

PEZA director general Tereso Panga highlighted this development as a significant stride in attracting more Taiwanese companies to the Philippines.

The investment is expected to generate job opportunities for Filipinos and foster advancements in product manufacturing and research and development for fragrances and air care products.

The Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) chair, Cheloy Garafil, affirmed the government's commitment to facilitating foreign investments.
