Taguig opens 2 COVID-19 drive-thru testing centers

Taguig City has launched two drive-thru testing centers for COVID-19, one at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and another at the Taguig Lakeshore in Barangay Lower Bicutan.

The BGC testing center is located at the Northeast Parking Area in front of Kidzania, beside CitiBank and IBM One World Place.

Mayor Lino Cayetano stated that these centers are part of the city's Systematic Mass Approach to Responsible Testing (SMART) program.

Residents must first contact the COVID-19 hotline for assessment and receive a control number before proceeding to a testing site.

The City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU) will contact residents for their results, which are expected three to five days after testing.

Taguig has partnered with the Department of Health, Research Institute of Tropical Medicine, St. Luke's Medical Center, and the Philippine Red Cross for expedited sample testing.
