SYMS contractor says she brought P245M to DPWH office in a day
Syms Construction Trading has admitted to delivering P1 billion in cash to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) between 2022 and 2025.
General Manager Sally Santos stated that the money was delivered in boxes to DPWH contact Bryce Ericson Hernandez, assistant district engineer for Bulacan's 1st District.

The amount of cash delivered varied depending on the project, with one instance involving P245 million delivered in noodle boxes.
Santos further revealed that the largest single-day delivery amounted to P240 million.
Hernandez confirmed receiving the sealed cash in his office, stating he was instructed to have it fetched by his superior, former Bulacan District Engineer Henry Alcantara.
