Super Typhoon Uwan cancels sea trips nationwide

Philippine sea trips were cancelled on November 9, 2025, due to Super Typhoon Uwan, affecting various routes across the country.

The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) reported the cancellations, which impacted numerous ports and vessels.

Major cancellations were noted in PMO Bataan/Aurora, PMO NCR North, PMO NCR South, PMO Batangas, PMO Marinduque/Quezon, PMO Bicol, and PMO Masbate.

In PMO Palawan, specific routes such as Coron to Mindoro and various inter-island trips were halted, along with the cruise ship MV Star Voyager scheduled for November 12, 2025.

PMO Eastern Leyte Samar and PMO Western Leyte Biliran also experienced a complete cancellation of all trips.

Several ferry services, including Lite Ferry and Fast Cat, were affected in PMO Negros Occidental, with specific routes from San Carlos to Toledo and Escalante to Tabuelan being suspended.
