The super typhoon was forecast to cross the northern portion of Central Luzon and the southern portion of Northern Luzon before emerging over the West Philippine Sea.

Heavy to torrential rains will batter Bicol through early Sunday, eastern Luzon early to midday Sunday, and Northern and Central Luzon Sunday afternoon and evening.

Destructive winds, torrential rains, and storm surge may cause widespread and serious damage, flooding, and landslides in many parts of Luzon.
