Sunshine Garcia's three children recover from hand, foot, and mouth disease

Actress Sunshine Garcia shared that her three children, Axel, Alexander, and Alynna, recently recovered from hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD).

Garcia revealed that her children were diagnosed with HFMD weeks before Christmas, causing a stressful period for the family.

She explained that the virus likely incubated for two weeks before symptoms appeared, as advised by their pediatrician.

Despite being very careful and only taking them out once a week, Garcia and her husband, Bulacan Vice Gov. Alex Castro, were unsure how their children contracted the highly contagious disease.

The actress posted on Facebook to raise awareness among other parents about HFMD, reminding them to seek medical help for rash-like wounds on their children's mouth and extremities.

Sunshine Garcia reassured her followers that her children are now fully recovered and doing well.
