Converge rallies past Rain or Shine to take solo second

Converge defeated Rain or Shine 103-96 in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup, with Alec Stockton leading the charge.

Stockton finished with a team-high 21 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, and added four rebounds and five assists.

Jordan Heading contributed 17 points, while Justin Arana and Kevin Racal chipped in 15 and 13 markers, respectively.

The win improved Converge's record to 7-3, granting them solo second place in the standings, and dealt Rain or Shine their second straight loss, bringing their record to 5-3.

Converge recovered from a 17-point deficit in the first quarter, a deficit that they erased with a 37-16 rally to end the first half with a 47-43 lead.

Rain or Shine reclaimed the lead in the third quarter after a 13-2 run, shortly after its head coach Yeng Guiao got ejected for incurring two technical fouls.
