SSS, Commission on Filipinos Overseas sign partnership for KaSSSangga Collect Program
The Social Security System (SSS) and the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) have launched the KaSSSangga Collect Program to provide social security protection to Job Order (JO) and Contract of Service (COS) workers.

The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on March 7, aims to register JO and COS workers as self-employed SSS members.
These workers, who are not covered by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) due to their employment status, will now have access to various SSS benefits.
These benefits include those for sickness, maternity, disability, retirement, funeral, and death, as well as eligibility for SSS loan programs like salary and calamity loans.
Additionally, the program ensures these workers receive extra coverage from the Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) for any work-related sickness, disability, or death.
