Sparkle names its 10 empowered female stars

Sparkle GMA Artist Center has revealed the "Sparkle 10," a group of ten female stars identified as empowered, self-assured, and confident.

The chosen artists are Ashley Ortega, Angel Guardian, Elle Villanueva, Faith Da Silva, Kate Valdez, Lexi Gonzales, Lianne Valentin, Liezel Lopez, Rabiya Mateo, and Shuvee Etrata.

Lawrence Tan, Sparkle's Consulting Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing, described the Sparkle 10 as a representation of beauty, brains, and talent, emphasizing versatility.

These women embody the characteristics of a modern Filipina who are aiming to challenge current norms.

Rabiya Mateo shared her excitement and appreciation for being included in the group.

Angel Guardian, 25, is one of the newest Sang'gres, alongside Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda.

Guardian previously starred in "Heartful Cafe," "Mano po Legacy: The Flower Sisters," and "Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kwento," and was the first winner of "Running Man Philippines."

New projects from these ten artists are expected throughout the year.

This initiative follows Sparkle's 2023 launch of Sparkle Teens.
