SM Prime invests P3 billion in Batangas ecology resort

SM Prime Holdings Inc. is investing P3 billion to develop a 12-hectare upscale ecology resort called M Village in Nasugbu, Batangas.

The M Village project, undertaken by SM Prime's subsidiary Costa Del Hamilo Inc. as part of its Hamilo Coast development, is designed to cater to the high-end market and wealthy nautical adventurers.

Joel Luna Planning & Design has been tapped as the project's master planner, and WATG Singapore will serve as concept planner.

The resort will feature a strong emphasis on natural systems, with over 60 percent of the estate dedicated to open space.

Shared amenities will include a clubhouse, esplanade, gardens, parks, and pools.

The initial phase will offer more than 170 lots, allowing residents to park their boats directly at their homes.

Market reception has been strong, with buyers securing units ahead of the scheduled turnover in late 2028.
