Sky Cable to end broadcast services February 26

Sky Cable will cease its broadcast services on cable TV by February 26, 2024, as it transitions into a dedicated internet service provider following its acquisition by PLDT.

The Philippine Competition Commission has approved the sale of Sky Cable's broadband business and related assets to PLDT Inc.

This acquisition involves the sale of 100 percent of Sky Cable's issued and outstanding capital stock.

Sky Cable has stated that current cable TV subscribers will not be charged from January 27 until the service officially ends on February 26.

Subscribers of Sky Fiber will continue to receive their internet service without interruption.
