Singer-songwriter Davey Langit dies at 38

Singer-songwriter Davey Langit, known for his hit song "Selfie Song," has died at the age of 38.

His wife, Therese Villarante-Langit, confirmed his passing on Facebook, sharing a tribute to his passionate spirit.

While the exact cause of death was not disclosed, Langit had been publicly battling a rare spinal infection called spondylodiscitis since August.

Langit, who began his career on "Pinoy Dream Academy" in 2006, also wrote other notable songs such as "Wedding Song" and "Dalawang Letra," the latter winning the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs competition in 2016.
