Sheena makes acting debut in MMK episode about her life

BINI member Sheena made her acting debut in "Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK)" portraying herself in an episode dramatizing her life story.

A trailer for the episode revealed Sheena's struggles following her mother's passing during her trainee days with BINI.

Angelica Panganiban plays Sheena's mother, marking her return to acting after a four-year hiatus.

Panganiban related to the role, stating that her own experiences as a mother and having recently lost her mother made her feel connected to the story.

Sheena initially thought the "MMK" invitation was a prank, but was thrilled as it was a dream of hers and BINI's.

Despite her excitement, Sheena felt anxious about her lack of acting experience, having only done basic brand shoots.

Sheena underwent a two-day acting workshop with veteran actress and acting coach Malou de Guzman to prepare for the role.
