Cuneta described her interactions with the communities at Camp Darapanan as a significant highlight in her life.

She emphasized the sincerity of her love for Mindanao, stating that her connection to the island has been present since her childhood.

Cuneta shared her long-standing desire to return to Mindanao, often reminding her husband of her commitment to the region amidst national issues.

She conveyed a message of unity, addressing the people of Mindanao as "brothers and sisters" and affirming the reality of her love for them.
