Shakey's Potato Corner expands to Taiwan and Laos

Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. is expanding its popular flavored fries chain, Potato Corner, to new international markets including Taiwan and Laos.

This expansion is part of the company's ongoing growth and diversification strategy.

Potato Corner has already seen success in Malaysia, with a dozen stores opened in just a few months through a partnership similar to the one in Thailand.

The company has identified Taiwan and Laos as promising markets with significant potential for scaling.

Currently, Shakey's overseas operations contribute over 20 percent of its system-wide sales, with Potato Corner having a presence in 15 markets outside the Philippines and operating 400 stores globally.
