Senate majority bloc holds inaugural caucus

The Senate majority bloc convened for its inaugural caucus following Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III's assumption of the Senate Presidency.

Twelve out of the fifteen members of the majority bloc attended the lunch meeting, with Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri sharing a photo of the gathering.

Notable attendees included Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson and Senators Loren Legarda, JV Ejercito, Risa Hontiveros, Win Gatchalian, Kiko Pangilinan, Bam Aquino, Raffy Tulfo, Erwin Tulfo, and Mark Villar.

Senator Loren Legarda hosted the caucus lunch, with Zubiri expressing enthusiasm for the meeting and the Senate's continuity.

Senators Lito Lapid and Pia Cayetano were unable to attend, while Senator Camille Villar is on maternity leave.

The caucus was held amidst circulating reports of a potential leadership challenge from the minority bloc, which was denied by Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Imee Marcos.
