The senator addressed specific instances of fake news, including claims of a raid on a medical institution for PPE and the repackaging of donations under his name, both of which have been denied by the parties involved.

Go clarified his role in facilitating donations, explaining that he helps identify hospitals in need as the chairperson of the Senate committee on health, but he does not claim credit for the donations themselves.

He also echoed President Duterte's sentiment that fake news is being used to agitate the public and destabilize the government.

Go warned that individuals spreading false information could face penalties under the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
