Sen. Angara's wife shares struggles with husband's COVID-19 diagnosis

Senator Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara's wife, Tootsy, shared her emotional struggles coping with her husband's positive COVID-19 diagnosis through a heartfelt Instagram post.

She expressed her deep sadness at not being able to physically care for her husband or offer him comfort during his illness, a stark contrast to his support when she was sick.

Tootsy also recounted the difficulties they faced in obtaining essential supplies, including instances where deliveries were refused and a neighbor's unkind reaction.

The family's household had to undergo a 14-day quarantine, and they experienced a shortage of basic necessities like drinking water, prompting help from family and friends.

Despite moments of weakness and tears, Tootsy finds strength in prayer and maintains faith in God's healing power for her husband's recovery.

She and their children are focusing on staying healthy, both physically and spiritually, while awaiting Senator Angara's return.
