SC to form committee to inventory infra projects amid flood control row

The Supreme Court (SC) will form a working committee to inventory judiciary infrastructure projects possibly contracted to or undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), amid the flood control controversy.

Acting Chief Justice Marvic Leonen announced this initiative during the oath-taking of Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla.

Leonen stated that the committee will report the status of these projects to the Chief Justice.

He also affirmed the judiciary's commitment to fighting corruption, assuring that they will do their part in holding officials liable with proper evidence and due process.

Additionally, the judiciary maintains a public email, [email protected], for stakeholders to confidentially report any corruption within its ranks.
