SC to release 2023 Bar exam results before Christmas

The Supreme Court (SC) announced that the results of the 2023 Bar examinations will be released before Christmas, with Associate Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando aiming for early December.

Hernando, who chairs the 2023 Bar exams committee, stated that this will significantly shorten the traditional waiting period for aspiring lawyers.

The SC also plans to hold simultaneous oath-taking and the signing of the Roll of Attorneys in December, ensuring new lawyers are admitted before the year concludes.

A total of 10,791 examinees were expected to take the three-day Bar exams, with 10,400 completing the first day.

Of the 10,791 examinees, 5,821 took the exam for the first time, while 4,970 took it for at least the second time.

The Bar exams commenced on Sunday, September 17, across 14 testing centers nationwide and concluded on Wednesday, September 20.
