SC, CA conduct unannounced fire and bomb threat drill

The Supreme Court (SC) and the Court of Appeals (CA) conducted an unannounced fire and bomb threat evacuation drill on Thursday afternoon.

The drill commenced around 2:45 p.m. with employees being asked to evacuate the buildings.

During the drill, a Philippine National Police (PNP) bomb squad arrived, and Padre Faura Street was temporarily closed.

Employees were permitted to re-enter the buildings around 3:30 p.m.

SC spokesperson Atty. Camille Ting stated that the initial assessment of the drill is good, but there is still room for improvement.
