Savouge secured the victory with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 20-25, and 15-13.

The team endured the loss of Lorenz Señoron to a left ankle injury in the second set and Shawie Caritativo to a similar injury in the fifth set.

Crucial performances from Mark Calado, Angelo Reyes, and Hero Austria were instrumental in fending off Alpha Insurance.

Head coach Sydney Calderon expressed initial concern over the injuries but was ultimately pleased with the team's resilience and the hard-fought win.

In the deciding fifth set, Savouge rallied from an 8-9 deficit by capitalizing on Alpha Insurance's errors and key plays from Reyes and Calado.
