Sarah G and SB19 drop new single 'Umaaligid' about fake news

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and P-pop kings SB19 have released their collaboration single titled 'Umaaligid'.

This new track is the first release under Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli-owned G-Music, a record label aiming to support Sarah's music career.

The song delves into themes of disinformation, fake news, and media manipulation.

'Umaaligid' was co-written by Sarah Geronimo herself, alongside Adam Pondang, Joshua Daniel Nase, Robert Gerongco, Samuel Gerongco, and Thyro Alfaro.

Geronimo also took on a co-producer role, working with Thyro Alfaro, Radkidz (composed of SB19's Pablo and producer Josue), Kuya, and AdamJosh.

The official audio and music film for 'Umaaligid' were released on Wednesday, July 30, featuring a crime-thriller-inspired atmosphere.

Highlights of the music film include Geronimo and SB19 members having their mugshots taken and being interviewed by authorities.

'Umaaligid' is the second song released by the OPM superstars, with the first being 'Ace Your World' in partnership with a Taiwanese tech giant.

SB19 is currently in the midst of their 'Simula at Wakas' world tour.

The single 'Umaaligid' is now available on all major streaming platforms.
