Sandara Park releases new version of her hit song for her 41st birthday

K-pop superstar Sandara Park celebrated her 41st birthday on Wednesday by releasing a new version of her cover of "Smile In Your Heart."

Park first covered the song, originally performed by Jam Morales, for her 2005 extended play released before her K-pop debut and while active in Philippine show business.

The full video was uploaded on YouTube, with Park dedicating the cover to her fans, called Daralings, and 2NE1 fans, the Blackjacks.

She expressed surprise on X (formerly Twitter) that non-Filipino fans were familiar with her songs from the Philippines, pondering singing them in future shows due to English lyrics.

Park spent much of her youth in the Philippines, joining "Star Circle Quest" in 2004, which launched her local showbiz career where she pursued music and appeared in TV shows and films.
