San Sebastian Stags rout Arellano Chiefs 88-75

The San Sebastian Stags defeated the Arellano Chiefs 88-75 in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament.

Despite the absence of their leading scorer, Paeng Are, who averages 18.85 points per game, the Stags secured their fourth victory in 14 games.

Tristan Felebrico led San Sebastian with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Nikko Aguilar contributed 16 points, five rebounds, and an assist, being hailed as the best player.

Reggz Gabat and Raymart Escobido also scored in double digits with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Key runs in the fourth quarter, including a 10-to-1 surge after trailing 62-61, allowed the Stags to pull away from the Chiefs.

The Arellano Chiefs, whose two-game winning streak was snapped, were led by John Capulong with 14 points and seven rebounds, and Renzo Abiera with 11 points.

Although their Final Four chances are slim, the San Sebastian Stags proved to be a formidable opponent for contending teams.
