Petro Gazz's Wilma Salas named PVL Press Corps Player of the Week

Cuban import Wilma Salas has been instrumental in Petro Gazz's current three-game winning streak, securing their spot in the PVL Reinforced Conference quarterfinals.

Salas has accumulated 74 points in two recent matches, leading the Angels past formidable opponents and improving their standing to 4-3.

She delivered a remarkable 34 points in a finals rematch against Creamline, followed by a career-best 40 points in a marathon victory over PLDT.

Salas' outstanding clutch performances earned her the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week award for August 13-17.
