Salaño, Burgos win Sante Barley Trilogy Run Asia Manila 21K

Ramil Salaño won the men's 21K division of the Sante Barley Trilogy Run Asia Manila Leg 2 with a time of 1:09:44.

He narrowly defeated John Flores, who finished three seconds behind, with Eduard Flores also finishing just three seconds later, and Edsel Moral placing third with 1:10:29.

Erika Nicole Burgos was the top female finisher in the 21K race with a time of 1:28:45, followed by Maricar Camacho (1:30:20) and April Rose Diaz (1:35:11).

The event had over 11,000 participants, with 5,000 runners in the 21K race.

James Darrel Orduña won the men's 10K race, with Ricky Organiza placing second, both clocking in 32:08.

Edna Magtubo led the women's 10K division.

Noli Torre and Shaira Mae Fantilaga secured first place in the men's and women's 5K races, respectively.

RUNRIO president and CEO Rio de la Cruz described the leg as 'one of the best' due to the increasing number of participants in longer distances.
