Rookie Mason Amos says La Salle transfer was best decision after UAAP title win

Rookie Mason Amos expressed no regrets after transferring from Ateneo to La Salle, which culminated in winning the UAAP championship in his rookie year with the Green Archers.

He played a crucial role in La Salle's Game 3 victory against the UP Fighting Maroons, scoring 11 points, dishing out four assists, and making key free throws to seal the championship.

Amos, along with fellow injured recruit Kean Baclaan, returned from Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injuries to help La Salle win the championship.

Despite the severity of their injuries, both players were determined to return and contributed clutch free throws in the finals.

Amos described the championship feeling as "amazing" and "great," attributing his success to God and his decision to switch schools.

He acknowledged the adversities he faced, including criticisms surrounding his transfer and his MCL injury.

Despite the challenges, Amos stated that he is "forever thankful" for the transfer, affirming it was the best decision he has made in his collegiate career.

He added that his championship title is a historic feat that no one can take away from him.
