ROK donates 38 vehicles to PH for vaccine rollout

The Republic of Korea has donated 34 refrigerated trucks and four service vans worth approximately PHP77 million to the Philippines to bolster its vaccination and anti-coronavirus efforts.

This donation is intended to support the National Immunization Program and the country's ongoing Covid-19 inoculation drive.

The vehicles will be distributed to Department of Health regional offices to facilitate the cold chain transportation of vaccines.

Korean Ambassador Kim Inchul expressed pleasure in partnering with the DOH, anticipating further contributions to the National Immunization Program through this aid.

The total Covid-19 assistance from Korea to the Philippines has now surpassed USD210 million, including previous donations of vaccines, masks, hygiene kits, PPE, swab test kits, and other essential supplies.
