Robredo inspired by volunteers financing campaign materials

Vice President Leni Robredo expressed that she is inspired by her supporters who willingly attend her campaign rallies and personally finance campaign materials like shirts and posters.

Robredo's statement came after House Deputy Speaker Jesus Crispin Remulla alleged that attendees of a Cavite rally for the Vice President were paid P500 each.

Volunteers and members of the Robredo People's Council in Cavite have refuted Remulla's claims, stating that many volunteers donated their own money to support the event.

The Vice President highlighted that the diverse shades and printings of the pink shirts worn by her supporters indicate their personal expense and genuine commitment, rather than paid attendance.
