Ridao designated PCO OIC amid Chavez leave

Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cesar Chavez has designated Senior Undersecretary Emerald Ridao as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the PCO while he is on a physical leave from February 17 to 21.

This designation comes amidst rumors circulating about Chavez's potential resignation from his position.

Ridao's responsibilities will include managing the PCO's daily operations and acting on behalf of the Acting Secretary when necessary, as per a special order issued on February 12.

Despite being on leave, Chavez stated his intention to continue working at full capacity during this period.
