Rep. Pulong Duterte sets up sanitizing cubicles for new normal

Davao City Representative Paolo "Pulong" Duterte is preparing his constituents for the "new normal" by setting up epidemic prevention stations in public areas.

These stations are 360-degree sanitizing cubicles with automatic temperature scanners designed to detect individuals with fever.

The prevention stations will be installed in public terminals and the airport to ensure readiness once the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is lifted.

Duterte emphasized the need for organization to ease constituents' worries, as the threat of COVID-19 will persist even after the ECQ.

In addition to the stations, Duterte has donated two million face masks and one thousand portable temperature scanners to Davao provinces and barangays.

Each of Davao City's 182 barangays will receive 2,000 face masks and two scanners.

The provinces in the Davao Region will collectively receive 150,000 face masks and 90 scanners.

Duterte highlighted the importance of equipping communities and extending assistance beyond Davao City to effectively contain the spread of COVID-19.
