Rep. Joey Salceda endorses Leni-Sara tandem

Albay Representative Joey Salceda announced his endorsement of Vice President Leni Robredo for president and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte for vice president.

Salceda cited their track records in public service, particularly their good governance and management styles, as reasons for his support.

He highlighted their judicious and effective use of public resources as crucial for the country's post-pandemic fiscal space.

Salceda, an administration ally, is the first to endorse candidates from separate tickets.

He believes Robredo and Duterte are friends who can work together and are both capable of inspiring investor confidence and pushing for economic development.
