Rep. Gomez questions drug lord Espinosa's credibility

Leyte 4th District Representative Richard Gomez questioned the credibility of self-confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa, describing the assassination attempt against him as "scripted" and poorly executed.

Gomez urged the public not to believe Espinosa, stating that a self-confessed drug lord would not do anything good for mankind.

In response, Espinosa advised Gomez to be "hinay-hinay lang sa paghusga" (slow down in judging) during Holy Week, reminding him that God dislikes arrogance.

Espinosa also accused Gomez of having a "record of abuse" while highlighting his own history of helping others.

The initial report mentioned Espinosa alleging the attack was politically motivated and implicated Ormoc City police officers, suggesting a link to his support for Gomez's opponent.
