Rep. Frasco denies speakership bid, backs Marcos Jr.'s agenda

Cebu Rep. Duke Frasco has denied rumors of aspiring for the Speakership of the 20th Congress, stating he has not made any decision or offered himself for the position.

His refusal to sign a manifesto supporting Speaker Martin Romualdez fueled speculation of an independent speakership bid.

Frasco emphasized his priority is supporting President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s agenda for national unity and development.

He indicated that if the speakership election were held today, he would support either Rep. Toby Tiangco or Rep. Albee Benitez.

Frasco recently returned from an official trip to Japan with President Marcos Jr. for the World Expo.
