Rep. Atayde's 'Aksyon Agad' benefits over 400,000 residents

Quezon City 1st District Representative Juan Carlos "Arjo" Atayde announced that his "Aksyon Agad" programs have benefited over 400,000 residents since 2022.

The "Aksyon Agad" initiative focuses on programs with a direct impact on the daily lives of constituents, encompassing employment, education, health, youth development, disaster response, and infrastructure.

Key accomplishments highlighted include assistance to 11,498 workers through TUPAD, connecting 1,500 applicants to overseas jobs, and training 1,100 residents through TESDA and livelihood programs.

In healthcare, the program supports 60 dialysis patients daily with free treatment and has provided medical assistance to 75,466 individuals.

Educational support has reached 4,598 students with CHED aid and 1,410 scholars through Tulong Dunong and SMART programs, alongside cash allowances for senior high school students.

The Rice Distribution Program has benefited 132,567 families, while Kusina on Wheels provided free meals to 65,300 residents, and Pamaskong Handog reached 64,000 families during the holidays.

Disaster and burial assistance have been provided to 7,789 families and 3,501 families, respectively, with an additional 40,684 individuals receiving financial aid for various needs.

Atayde emphasized that public service is about effectively responding to people's needs, with every allocated peso ensuring direct benefit to the constituents.

The Aksyon Agad Sports Program has supported 987 young athletes, with plans to expand to include new sports like badminton, chess, darts, and bowling to foster community ties.
