Raymart Santiago's legal team calls Inday Barretto's accusations 'slanderous'

Raymart Santiago's legal team has labeled the accusations made by Inday Barretto as "slanderous" and an "untruthful narrative" regarding Santiago's past marriage to Claudine Barretto.

Inday Barretto, in a tell-all interview with Ogie Diaz, claimed that Raymart Santiago was an abusive husband to Claudine, alleging both physical and sexual abuse.

She described Claudine often running away like a "scared mouse" and appearing like a "zombie" due to the alleged abuse.

Inday also claimed that their son Santino witnessed the supposed abuse and that Raymart took properties intended for their children.

Raymart Santiago's legal counsels, Atty. Howard M. Calleja and Atty. Katrin Jessica I. Distor-Guinigundo, issued a statement expressing their regret over Inday Barretto's choice to use publicity to spread her claims.

The legal team stated that both Inday and Claudine Barretto have repeatedly used social media and trial by publicity to tarnish Santiago's reputation.

According to Raymart's lawyers, Inday's frustrations stem from the conjugal land Claudine sold three years ago without Raymart's knowledge, and Raymart does not want to be involved in any dispute or irregularity Claudine may have committed.
