Raph Trinidad advances to cable wakeboard finals at World Games

Raph Trinidad has advanced to the finals of the men's cable wakeboard event at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China.

He scored 70.80 in the semifinals, placing him third in his group, a lower score compared to his 80.20 in the qualifying round.

Trinidad will compete against Loic Deschaux of France, Max Milde and Florian Weiherer of Germany, Isaac Claudio of the United States, and Oliver Orban of Hungary in the finals.

His coach, Carlo dela Torre, acknowledged the strong competition from Germany and France but expressed commitment to doing their best.

Eric Ordoñez did not advance in the men's wake surf event after placing fifth in his semifinals heat with a score of 40.00, as only the top three finishers in each group qualified for the medal round.
