Randy Lawyer denies Melanie Marquez's abuse allegations as baseless

Adam "Randy" Lawyer, through his legal counsel, has vehemently denied the abuse allegations made by his wife, former beauty queen Melanie Marquez, labeling them as "baseless" and an act of harassment.

Lawyer's legal team stated that Marquez has a history of making fabricated claims of abuse against him, all of which have been dismissed by proper authorities.

The legal statement specifically mentioned a case Marquez filed against Lawyer, which was dismissed by the Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati and did not proceed to court.

Marquez recounted claims of suffering abuse at Lawyer's hands on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," including being "abducted" to be admitted into a mental hospital and later a rehabilitation center.

According to the statement, Marquez's accusations are an attempt at defamation and harassment against their client.
