Rain or Shine signs Stanley Pringle to 2-year deal

Rain or Shine has signed veteran guard Stanley Pringle to a two-year contract as a free agent, bolstering their lineup for the upcoming PBA Season 50.

Pringle, the former No. 1 overall pick in 2014 and a four-time PBA champion, brings championship experience and proven scoring ability.

The 38-year-old guard previously suited up for Terrafirma, where he averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, after a five-year stint with Barangay Ginebra.

His contract with Terrafirma expired following their Philippine Cup run, and with the team's uncertain status for Season 50, his deal was not renewed.

He will join Rain or Shine's youthful backcourt, which includes talents like Adrian Nocum, Gian Mamuyac, Anton Asistio, and Andrei Caracut.

This move comes after Rain or Shine reached the semifinals for the fourth consecutive conference, falling to TNT in their most recent PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup playoffs duel.

The team also recently parted ways with Francis Escandor and Mark Borboran.
