Veteran guard Stanley Pringle has signed a two-year contract with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, joining as an unrestricted free agent after his contract with the Terrafirma Dyip ended.
The 11-year veteran and four-time PBA champion was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office on Tuesday.
Pringle, the former No. 1 overall pick in 2014, will suit up with his fourth team in the PBA.
He brings a wealth of experience to the youth-laden Elasto Painters, who reached the semifinals in their last four consecutive conferences.
His move comes as Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao seeks key additions to bring leadership, stability, and firepower to the team outside of the draft.
Pringle averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for the Dyip in his most recent stint.
