Quentin Millora-Brown joins Gilas pool for FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers

Quentin Millora-Brown has been officially added to the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the upcoming FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers.

FIBA reclassified Millora-Brown as a local earlier this year, making him eligible to play for the national team.

He is among new players incorporated into the expanded pool, which will face Guam in the first qualifying window in November.

Gilas head coach Tim Cone confirmed that Millora-Brown will play for the Nationals against Guam.

Other new additions to the pool include Barangay Ginebra guard RJ Abarrientos, naturalized player Ange Kouame, and the injured Kai Sotto.

SBP President Al Panlilio expressed excitement about Millora-Brown's inclusion, citing his potential within Gilas' system.

With Kouame in the pool, Gilas has two naturalized players but can only select one for the qualifiers, though Justin Brownlee remains the top choice.
