QCPD CIDU probes death of model found unresponsive at ex-boyfriend's home

The Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) is investigating the death of freelance model Gina Lima, who was found unresponsive at her ex-boyfriend's home and later declared dead on arrival at the Quezon City General Hospital.

Lima was last seen drinking with her ex-boyfriend on November 15 at her condominium, and they went to his residence the following morning.

The ex-boyfriend discovered Lima unresponsive around 8:00 p.m. on November 16, after which he and his father rushed her to the hospital.

According to PLt. Col. Edison Ouano, chief of QCPD CIDU, neither of Lima's siblings has reported that she mentioned receiving threats or being physically harmed prior to the incident.

Friends of the victim reported the incident to the police after learning of her death at the hospital.

An alleged confrontation occurred between the victim's friends and the ex-boyfriend at the hospital, with the ex-boyfriend claiming scratches, though both parties have undergone medical examinations.
