Puregold CinePanalo 2026 names 15 full-length film finalists

Puregold CinePanalo 2026 has announced its top 15 shortlist for the full-length category, featuring a diverse range of talent from emerging and established Filipino filmmakers, including works by JP Habac, Thop Nazareno, and Khavn.

From these 15 entries, seven finalists will be chosen to receive P5 million each, which is the largest production grant in Philippine film festival history.

Festival Chair Ivy Hayagan-Piedad expressed excitement about the lineup, noting that the festival has earned the attention and trust of important Filipino filmmakers.

Past films from the festival have gained international acclaim and recognition in various countries, contributing to its growing prestige.

The record-breaking production grant and global recognition have attracted more directors to participate in this year's festival.
