Pulang araw series archived on the moon

The Kapuso series "Pulang Araw" is the first Filipino drama selected to be archived on the moon as part of the Lunar Codex project.

The historical drama, starring Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, and David Licauco, was chosen for its depiction of a significant part of Philippine history.

It will be part of the Polaris collection, scheduled to launch to the Nobile Crater of the moon's South Pole region in 2025.

The Lunar Codex project, founded by Dr. Samuel Peralta, aims to preserve works from filmmakers, writers, and artists from 185 countries and 160 indigenous nations.

The selected works are compressed and laser-etched on NanoFiche and will be launched from Earth via NASA's Artemis capsule.
