PRO-3, PRO-13 launch Media Action Centers for elections

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) in Central Luzon has launched a Media Action Center (MAC) to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and credible election process.

This center will act as a central hub for media and the public to receive official updates, ask questions, and report election-related incidents.

PRO-3 chief Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo stated that the MAC demonstrates the police's commitment to maintaining peace and order while fostering transparency and open communication.

The initiative aims to facilitate the swift and accurate dissemination of verified information directly from law enforcement to the public.

Similar MACs have been established in all provincial and city police offices within PRO-3 and will operate 24/7.

The Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 (Caraga) has also activated its MAC to serve as the official election information hub for its region, five days before the May 12 national and local elections.

PRO-13 Director Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano stated that the MAC ensures unified police-media efforts in promoting public awareness through accurate information and combating misinformation.
