Presidential bets unite for Odette relief efforts

Presidential aspirants have united to provide aid to victims of Typhoon Odette following Senator Manny Pacquiao's call for a political "ceasefire".

Vice President Leni Robredo's office coordinated with the Philippine Coast Guard to distribute 2,000 5-kilogram-packs of rice and 1,548 relief good bags in Surigao del Norte, and 200 5-kilogram-packs of rice in Siargao Island.

Her volunteer center is also serving as a hub for donations, with contributions pouring in since she called for aid.
