PRC cancels March, April board exams due to COVID-19

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has canceled all board examinations scheduled for March and April 2020 due to the risks associated with the COVID-19 outbreak.

This decision aligns with President Duterte's declaration of a state of public health emergency and advisories to avoid mass gatherings.

The canceled licensure examinations include those for physicians, medical technologists, professional teachers, electronic engineers and technicians, midwives, registered electrical engineers and master electricians, and pharmacists, as well as a qualifying assessment for foreign medical professionals.

The PRC stated that the cancellations were made to ensure the safety of examinees and employees.

New schedules for the affected examinations will be posted on the PRC's website and social media accounts.
